Yes folks – the planets have aligned, the dice have rolled, all 6 Lotto numbers (and 2 supps) have been circled. Magic is happening and seismic events will occur on Charles Street. Okay, so Phil Bennett turns 67. Any excuse for a party. And it’ll all be happening at Perth’s favourite place on a Tuesday night with the fabulous Love bites!! Where else would you wanna be? Stones flavoured R&B with a twist of rock’n’roll, a dash of blues and a splash of whatever that other ingredient is.
With Phil Bennett honky tonking on the 88s and hollering out them words, Sam Musca squeezing out those six strings, April Ashton honking that horn, bass boss John Talati rambling and rumbling underneath, and rhythm king, Richie Pavledis, kicking out the groove with his sticks, there’s voodoo magic in the air when these guys hit the stage.

Kyra Bee delivers a sultry blend of blues rockabilly and soul, drawing inspiration from legends like Etta James, Nina Simone. With her powerful emotive vocals at the forefront, audiences can expect rich heartfelt performances full groove and fire! Joining her are the wild guitar grooves and electrified solos of Geoff Eastwood on the Guitar, the solid smooth Bass lines Kevin Heslin, and Trevor Judd’s exciting, driving beats of the drums. Fresh from a stint of recent gigs at Alabama song and pubs across the Mundaring hills, The Swan Valley and Fremantle, Kyra and The Clampetts bring raw energy and a vintage soul to every stage!
