Playin’ bloody good blues in such fine establishments as The Duke of George, Clancy’s, Hilton Bowlo, Rodney’s Bait’n’Tackle, Ellington’s Jazz Club, the blues approved Australia Hotel and the list goes on. The Cap’n, Glenn Carpenter – vocal and guitar, Sweetlips, Paul Fitzpatrick – harp, Gouldfingers Lindsay Gould – sassy tenor sax, Baggy Shorts, Graham Temby – drums and Da Pumpkin, Duncan Roylance – bass, love a little boogie and swinging’ shuffle.

Grant is a prolific songwriter releasing 4 albums the past 4 years. Acclaimed album “AWA Blues” was voted in top 25 albums of the year in 2021 by Rolling Stone magazine France. Whether its been Rockpalast in Germany or the iconic television show Taratata in France, Grant has been wowing audiences across Europe for the past 3 years. Most recently Grant was a semi-finalist at the INBC (International Blues Competition) in Memphis USA 2025.
Down Under, Grant travels across the ditch to Western Australia and delivers raw powerhouse shows with “The Soul Decree”. Since February 2023 the bond between Grant and The Soul Decree is glued on and off the stage. Touring February 2023 and November 2023. Punters drove or flew to other WA regional towns or Perth to see Grant Haua & The Soul Decree one more time. “We just had to see you guys again!”.

On the back of Grant releasing his 5th Album in October/November 2025, is time to rejoin with The Soul Decree and bring Grant’s musical fluidity and approach that is uniquely his own back to Western Australia.
