Festival of the Fret
Each year, the Perth Blues Club celebrates the blues guitar with a special night called “Festival of the Fret”, which features a line-up of local guitarists displaying their various virtuoso styles.
This year we welcome Grant Touchell, Andrew and Shaun McIlroy (Father and Son), Gabriele Campani, Trevor Jalla and Jason Smith.
They will be joined on stage by bass guitarist Alan Dawson and drummer Frank Shinell, both from Empire Blues, with Kat Kinley on vocals. Collectively, they will bring an evening of great guitar blues culminating in a big finish with all muso’s on stage together for a mammoth jam session.
