Fiona Garde Band + The Whiskey Nips

Fiona Garde Band | 7.30pm

Fiona Garde Band brings you the songs ‘Women Sing the Blues’. Beth Hart, Amy Winehouse, Bonnie Raitt, Miley Cyrus and more…When you think about the voices of blues rock Beth Hart immediately comes to mind – raw, powerful and captivating. Few artists in the genre have the ability to pull listeners like Beth. Add the music of Amy Winehouse an incredible blend of blues, jazz, funk and R&B. Add Bonnie Raitt a superb country blues singer-songwriter slide guitar player across the decades, gritty lyrics and lived-in voice. Add the musicality of Miley Cyrus and her innovative country bluesy rocky tones. Fiona has assembled the right musicians to support her trademark vocal driven style. Russell Bond lead/slide guitars/vocals – searing blues solos tasty rhythms. Drew Haswell (bass) and Vince Pavitt (drums) – experienced and professional swing blues rock & funk rhythm section. The Fiona Garde Band pays tribute to the music of these powerhouse women established in popular blues culture and is not to be missed.
