‘There is freedom within’, wrote Neil Finn, a line that best describes the musical collaboration of the Freedom Brothers band.
Comprising of Roy Martinez (bass, vocals), Richie Pavledis (drums, vocals), and Lez Karski (vocals, guitar), all are well respected in the rock/blues/roots community, and have decades of playing experience between them. (Absent Freedom Brother Mike Vdelli currently on tour with his own band.)
Together they combine their unique sonic flavours to stretch out on soul, blues, rock and country classics with an organic blend of riffs, solos, and silliness that only mutual love of each other’s work can engender.
The result is a wonderful ‘freedom without’!

Whyalla Reunion | 8.45pm

Finally after many years of talking about it we are getting together to bring this exciting show to Perth Blues Club . Steve Garde , Jaime Page , Richard Leach and Alan McCowat have all played in many of Perth’s top bands over the years . Their history goes back to the city of Whyalla (SA) where they spent their formative years honing their guitar skills before settling in Perth and creating successful careers in the music industry. On October 11th they will perform on stage together for the first time with the great rhythm section of Paul Reynolds (bass) and Garry Howard (Drums). This long overdue collaboration is not to be missed folks, come join us for a fabulous night of guitar wizardry you’ll be glad you did.
