Featuring seasoned musicians from Perth’s vibrant blues scene, this dynamic 5-piece ensemble promises to deliver a one-of-a-kind musical experience that will leave you craving more.
Lowdown are: Adam Norton on harmonica and vocals, Laurence Petre Allen on guitar and vocals, Troy Shirlaw on drums and Hank Deberitz on bass and vocals.

King Fez and New York Slim Band | 9.00pm

Playing Traditional and Alternative Blues, New York Slim collaborates with King Fez for a night of well-known foot tappin’ Boogie and Blues. This line up really highlights New York Slim, probably one of the best female traditional slide guitar players around, and when she’s playing swing and jump blues, she has tones and phrasing reminiscent of Hollywood Fats. What’s not to love about that? Having 10 years’ experience playing guitar around New York State, Slim has learned her art from performing with a high calibre of blues musicians from all over the USA. Here she gets to share her love for the music with her longtime collaborator King Fez, who originally started performing in the UK, and has now become a regular on the Perth Blues and Roots music scene.
They are joined by good friends and long term musician buddies, Washboard Pete giving some rhythm on his scrub board, Ashley Whitworth supplying the bass tones and Trevor Judd keeping busy on the skins and joining as a special guest vocalist, Charlie Scott will be putting some country twang into those blues.
