Ram Shackle

Ram Shackle is partly the result of two middle aged musos refusing to accept the contention that their music is unimportant, and as such, that they, as musicians, are no longer relevant, along with their delivery of the music that had shaped their lives.
So, rather than shrivel up and accept their fate, Tony Shergold and his good friend and compatriot John Howard, have resisted this obvious nonsense, and formed a band (sometimes 4, 5 or even 6 piece), with their accomplice, in the form of a Boss RC300 Looper, containing some of their greatest rhythm section performances.
Ram Shackle have regaled numerous audiences, without fear or favour, since their inception, with an eclectic mix of music, from Robert Johnson, to Pink Floyd. So don’t expect the same ol’ same ol’, but do expect music played with passion and primarily, music designed for great night out.
The origin of the strap line “Blues and Beyond” came about from Ram Shackle not wanting to be labelled as “just another blues band” but a band which is not afraid to add their style to a broad selection of musical genres. The aforementioned strap line has unfortunately caused some confusion as to their actual nomenclature, thus achieving the unintended aim of having people mentioning their name (and strap line) far more frequently than originally intended or indeed, imagined. Ram Shackle (two words) are all that’s required… plain and simple.

The Sleepwalkers

The Sleepwalkers are Paul Marvin & John Chopping. Paul & John began playing together when Paul re-located to Australia with his family from the UK well over 25 years ago. Together they performed with Jeff Harrison and the Indigo Duck band and toured extensively. In 2019 they re-badged themselves as The Sleepwalkers bringing acoustic based music to the forefront. They also have a recording of original songs on the album “Corn Soup Blues”.

Wayne Green & K.B.

Wayne Green & K.B. are a Fremantle based duo of many years’ experience that play an eclectic mix of roots based songs in a stripped down format…2 voices, one guitar, one harmonica and a good time vibe!!
K.B. was the lead singer of The Bayou Brothers and also (in N.Z.) a brief stint with Russ L’Roq and the Romantics…featuring a pre-Gladiator Russell Crowe.
Wayne Green is well known as the front man of The Phantoms; legendary Perth rock n roll band.
