Matt Cal + Rachelle Coba & Nico
Matt Cal | 7.30pm
“Music is like breathing, something that I Iove to do, something that I have to do. It’s something that when I’ve chosen to stop doing it happens anyway”.
“For me music is expressed as songcraft. Stories, some fabled, some truth, some reflect my own personal journey thru life including the big things but also I love to write about the little things that happen along the way as we stop to hopefully smell the roses…”
Influenced by the classic Australian nature of artists such as Paul Kelly to the power and musicality of Neil Young and the effervescent pop sensibility of artist’s like Vance Joy, Matt weaves a charming relaxed nature thru blues influenced acoustic folk ballads.
